Lay Leadership

The Educational Ministry Committee, along with the Pastor, oversees the all the Christian educational programs within the congregation. They select appropriate teaching materials published or approved by ELCA for the various teaching venues. One of its primary aims is to bring the call to the ministry of the Gospel and to other full time church vocations to the attention of qualified youth of the congregation.

This is obviously one of the busiest committees serving the congregation. Vacation Bible School, Sunday Schools classes, Discipleship Training (Confirmation) and all of the special educational programs are its responsibility. Thankfully, these people also make Christian education fun and the church calendar is filled with activities that both teach us and entertain!

Sunday School meets from 9:15 am to 10:10. Class are offered for all age groups from preschool to various adult classes. It's a chance to learn about Jesus and his Word through music, bible study and discussing groups.
